Bandhavgarh National Park spans up to approximately 105 sq kms and offers a wide variety of breathtaking views including steep ridges, undulating, forest and open meadows. Primaily, the Bandhavgarh National Park is recognized for the Royal Bengal Tigers. It is interesting to note that the density of the Tiger population at Bandhavgarh is the highest in India.
Bandhavgarh National Park was the former hunting preserve of the Maharajas and that is what gives it more prominence in terms of tourist attractions. With highest concentration of tigers per unit area of forest, the Bandhavgarh National Park stands at the top.
