About The Train

Cabin

The cabins are designed based on how they used to be when royal families of India rode the old train. These cabins have a décor of priceless stones, silk, antique upholstery and royal hue.

Dining

The train includes two restaurants, each possessing a stylish décor. The restaurants have a seating arrangement in groups of twos and fours. The guests aboard can savour sumptuous food of Indian (especially Marwari) and other popular world cuisine (such as Continental and European). Along with the option of table d’hôte meals, a part of the Palace on Wheels tariff, it also has an option of an extensive a la carte menu.

  • Maharani Restaurant

These restaurants also have in- house bars, serving a variety of both, alcoholic and non- alcoholic beverages of both Indian and International brands.


The Palace on Wheels has:
